Come Sail Away

We are awaiting the development of some pictures but with the exception of those, Crosby's nursery is finally finished!!! Yeah, what a sigh of relief and another reality check. Only a few more weeks until the nursery is "complete". My mom and Lisa visited today for a early birthday celebration and to help with some finishing touches on the nursery and I am incredibly grateful!

Erik and I would not have been able to finish the nursery without them. We truly needed all hands on deck in order to "strategically" place letters, shelves and a sailboat. All of Crosby's clothes and blankets are washed and ready for use. I plan on packing the bags tomorrow and getting the car seat in the car. Erik and I will be ready to go "just in case" he decides to bless us with his presence early. We're eager, nervous, ready, not-ready, and prepared to love our little guy. He is so loved already but he better get ready for smooches!!!

The next time I will see Lisa is in the delivery room and I'll change roles from preggo to mom. Luckily I will see my mom for Christmas but it was very weird saying good-bye to them today.

Here's to turning 30 with people I love. I can't wait to share the next birthday with a weeble wobbling Crosby.
