"If you ain't a FL Gator you MUST be Gator bait"
Well, yesterday was a great day! Crosby attended his first Gator game in The Swamp! Erik and I headed down to Gainesville with our blue Gator gear on pumped up for the game. Florida played the Tennessee Vols and demolished them, 59-20. We conquered the student section and were fortunate to have an aisle seat. With sweat pouring down our body we cheered our team and guzzled water every 30 seconds. With a record high of 96 degrees we were surprised to see how well I held up. Believe it or not with little complaining. I'm telling you this pregnancy thing has been great for me :) In the 3rd quarter after about 10 bottles of water and 10 cups of ice later we muscled through the heat and were excited to see the sun was finally shaded. Erik made sure to ice down my neck to avoid over heating and protected "the belly" whenever anyone walked by. The day was GREAT!!! I could tell Crosby was overstimulated. When the crowd calmed down and the band stopped was when he would give me a nice roundhouse kick to let me know "enough already". When the game ended and the football players gathered in the student section to sing the Alma Mater, Crosby went nuts. He bounced around as if he thought he was crowd surfing. It was a mellow sound that was soothing and refreshing. We really couldn't haven't asked for a better day...well maybe if it were 20 degrees cooler.
We headed back to Tallahassee after the game and Crosby replayed all the passes, tackles, and touchdowns. He was a wild little squirt the entire ride home. So much for me having a little break.
