"Freeze Homegirl"
Last night I, along with Emily and Marcy, ventured over to L&D to play with the ultrasound machine. And played we did. Marcy took charge and found Little Fennie, not too many places to look, but she found him/her. Keely, the L&D nurse is not trained in the use of the ultrasound machine either so clearly this was as close as I was getting to an amusement park ride. It was so fun. For 45 minutes we searched for our little squirt who was not really in the mood to be found. We saw a great strong heartbeat but then again have no idea what we're really looking at so we thought that his heart was beating in his head....um, no. We saw quite a bit of punching and kicking and had some great shots of the spine. Too cool! Marcy was in charge of "freezing" the frames to be printed and with that came the phrase, "Freeze Homegirl"! And freeze she did. We had so many shots printed out that I have enough to use as Christmas tree garland! I'm so grateful that I had my 2 pals with me! I'm really hoping that in 3 wks, when it is time for our official ultrasound, that our little squirt will cooperate. We are dying to "see the goods" for lack of better words....there are a lot of people anxious to know "who" lives in my cool studio apartment!
Okay: (14wks 3 days)
Top picture is a profile shot, if you click on it and enlarge you can really get a good look at the nose and mouth..........cool!
Middle picture is proof that the baby too loves David Beckham....look at that kick!
Bottom picture is awkward but the baby is head down (right) with the spine in the air and leg to the left. I was amazed with the view of the spine...geez, posture is great already :)
