Let's play catch up
Okay, after the first journal entry my writing mainly consists of the changes occurring with Little Fennie. How he/she has grown from the size of a sesame seed, to a grape, to now a lime. Funny story about the sesame seed....I have some seeds in the pantry and ran into the bedroom to explain to Erik the size of the baby, sesame seed in hand. I could not believe that I had a living "creature" inside me that small with a heart beginning to split into its chambers. Anyway, I turned to leave and the seed fell out of my hand and onto the floor. I was mortified! I was on my hands and knees looking for "our baby", our seed. I felt like Rick Moranis in Honey I Shrunk the Kids....it was terrible. I never did find the litte sucker. One of the dogs probably sniffed it up, it left the house under one of our shoes or it's sitting in the yucky vacuum. Great, if this is a sign of the mother I'm going to be call Dept of Children and Families now! :)
Alright, along with the ever changing baby and momma I also included how Erik and I were going to tell our families. I told Chrissy and Kyle at dinner with Chrissy opening a gift (anyone who knows her knows that this is the best way to get her attention...a present for her). She was shocked, cried and was very excited. Next was my mom. We too had a gift for her and were smart enough to catch the shock and awe of video....classic! I wish I knew how to upload it but it's GREAT! Erik had dinner with his entire family....spread the news all at once. Then came the friends and then the emails. SO, now we are at the current journal entries....
