Bragging Rights

Okay, I forgot to add this info in my blog. On Saturday, March 3rd I ran in a local 5K for charity. It was my first actual run since the Tallahassee 1/2 marathon. Now I have trotted here and there with Mako but nothing to be considered a training sort of run ....

I finished at a slower pace than I normally run but I ended up being 3rd in my age division. Oh Yeah! They only gave out medals for the 1st and 2nd place runners but I was pretty proud of myself. I placed 39 out of 162 runners.....not too shabby for a gal who slacks on her running.
