Jingle Bells

Tis the Season! After the Turkey Trot I got sick (respiratory yuckies). I trucked forward and still went to the Jingle Bell Run which was the day before my birthday....again, I was sick for my birthday. Whoa is me! :) The Jingle Bell Run was more of a family fun walk and I LOVED IT!!! So much of a fun walk that it is 100% acceptable to wear your race day shirt. We met up with our "peeps" and awaited the festivites. Downtown Tallahassee lit up with Christmas lights and then the holiday music started and the herd was off. We all got some television time (I fought my way to the camera) but we have yet to view the tube for my TV debut! Mako had a blast as did the rest of us. Erik and I truly felt like we were a part of something here in town and plan on doing the Jingle Bell run every year....with it being the weekend of my birthday there are no if's and's or but's about it! Sweet! Maybe they should think of renaming the "race" to the Desiree Bell Run!
