This is why

Here is an excerpt of an email I sent out to my friends who were crazy like me and signed up to run/walk the 1/2 marathon:
Why bother?
1. You bother because of your health
2. You bother because of your new found passion
3. You bother because you feel like poo while doing it
4. You bother because you feel great when you are done
5. You bother because you secretly love it when you sweat that much
6. You bother because you well never give up
7. You bother because you are supporting your friends
8. You bother because you are being supported
9. You bother because dri-fit clothes are sooooo cool (no pun intended)
And finally....
10. You bother because this in the one thing that NO ONE can ever take away from you!!!!!
SO there! When it comes to giving up, no one will. When it comes to giving up, know that you have more that enough arms to push you in the right direction. Take some time for yourself whether is during your walk to just skipping a day. Don't give up, pace yourself not physically but mentally as well. Never before has any one of us wanted to cry after walk/run....now ladies and gents we do! We are accomplishing so much, be proud of how far you have come and how far you are going!!!!!
